Are the decals measured by width or height?

If the decal is taller than it is wide, it is measured by height. If it is wider than it is tall, it is measured by width. This is to ensure that the decals never exceed 3,5,7.9.or 12 inches.

Does the color option mean the background color?

No, the color option is the color of the vinyl. The part in black on each image is the vinyl, there is no background with decals.

How long will the decals last?

We make our decals out of high quality Oracle Vinyl and they are expected to last up to 6 years.
